open call: Untitled (for now)

Shapes & Things invites you to contribute to our upcoming collection of poems — the theme being ‘heartbreak’.

While we have been a collective for some time, we have never reached out specifically asking for written pieces—so the time is now! Heartbreak is a common thread within all of us; it is something we carry, willing or not, wherever we go.

We will collect our favourite submissions and create a formal publication for us to share. This will take some time, but we got that!

The brief is simple: Have you ever been heartbroken? Then we want you!

Things to remember

• No entry fee is required.

• Please do not upload or send us any photographs or videos.

• One submission per artist.

• Deadline is Wednesday 17th of June, 2026.
