b. 2001 - New York City, USA.

Poppy Tingley is a British-Canadian mixed media artist, currently living in New York City. Her practice involves illustration, experimental animation and sculpture to juggle a child-like rawness and sensitivity.

Tinley’s perspective is deeply influenced by archive recordings, folklore, nonsense and patterns to blend together elements of reality and her imaginative landscape. She aims to reveal the tenderness and humour inherent in human personalities.
